Angela Brady Glass


My Story

Angela Brady has been working as a fused glass artist for 15 years and has exhibited in many exhibitions in Ireland UK and China. She champions craft and design in the media and on TV and has made many videos promoting West Cork craft and design. The latest is RTE “Designing Ireland” written and presented with Sandra O’Connell – now available on Amazon Prime world wide.

Angela has exhibited in many art galleries such as Barbara Stanley Gallery and RA, in London, the RHA, The Blue House Gallery in Schull, Aisling Gallery in Ballydehob, Uillinn in Skibbereen, and with the West Cork Creates group annual show for 6 years.

She trained as an architect in Dublin School of Architecture and has always been an active artists and craftsperson. She curates the #10handscrafts group who are a selection of West Cork crafts people who take part in international Craft exhibitions in Ireland, UK and China since 2015.

Angela’s fused glass pieces are created in their studio in Gurteenakilla Ballydehob, the home of craft since the 1960’s. She makes colourful fused glass jewellery, bowls plates and large steel and glass panels for architectural commissions. She also works in collaboration with other creatives.
