Bernadette of Rock & Water Ceramics was a boat captain for many years in California. Returning to Ireland in 2011 she began her new life with an Art degree, graduating Crawford College of Art and Design in 2018. Today her affinity with the ocean is reflected in her sculptural ceramic vessels which emulate Cork seascapes, uncovered while kayaking along the local Atlantic coast. Each ceramic piece is unique, is named and some contain found materials from the area that inspired it.
