Cork Craft and Design’s popular outdoor markets return to St Patrick’s Woollen Mills in the heart of Douglas for two special days this festive season .

Get into the Christmas spirit at this free and accessible event showcasing  a unique range of artisan goods made by local makers from across the Rebel County. Running on Sunday 5th of December and again on Sunday 12^th of December, the magical outdoor craft market will feature a selection of handcrafted ceramics, wood, glass, jewellery, textiles, food and more.

Expect twinkling lights in the trees and the comforting smell of mulled wine, hot chocolate and cinnamon as Christmas kicks off in the Mills. All crafts at the market are made or designed in Cork. Only Cork based businesses feature at our markets so every purchase from coffee to candles will be supporting local small business.

This is a family friendly event and children will be invited to sit and write a letter to Santa Claus and post it in the special post box that has a direct line to the North Pole. As the market takes place outdoors your canine pals are welcome to join the festivities also. There will be over 20 handpicked eclectic craft stalls, each exemplifying the best in-kind of their craft to create unique and memorable Christmas gifts.
