In a first for Cork Craft Month, Cork Craft and Design Members and The English Market Traders are to collaborate on the synchronicities between both Craft Industries. This Collaborative Event will take place across the social media platforms of  the Trader. The seventh collaboration will feature a wine collaboration with Bubble Brothers and John McCarthy Woodturner.

Bubble Brothers offer a carefully selected range of affordable, interesting wines and champagnes from around the world, alongside a variety of Cuban cigars. Their shop has been part of Market life since 2000 with a diverse stock of wines, many of which they import direct and exclusively.  Look out for special offers and tastings, and of course personal recommendations and advice come free of charge, whether in person or online. Don’t hesitate to call for a chat about any of their services, from gifts and wedding wine to personalised champagne.

John Mc Carthy has been woodturning for over 25 years. He produces functional and artistic work from his workshop in Nohoval, Co. Cork. He uses locally sourced timber that has come from trees that have been felled by storms or as a result of disease. He uses simple flowing forms in an attempt to display and enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
