As part of the celebration of Heritage Week 2021, Kilcoe Studios will join Cork Craft & Design to host three straw craft workshops and demonstrations during Cork Craft Month. The aim of these workshops is to celebrate the importance of straw craft and its traditions.

This second event will be a multi-generational workshop facilitated by Sonia Caldwell / Kilcoe Studios. Suitable for all ages over 9 years old.

This workshop will explore different styles of decorative straw plaiting and braiding . Participants will make decorative bracelets and a harvest bow.

This number is subject to covid guidelines on indoor events. The event can also take place outdoors and we will be in touch nearer the time.
