This week we are delighted to launch our new Cork Craft and Design Click & Collect service. We have once again teamed up with our wonderful Makers to make it easier then ever to shop online with us. Every week the Click & Collect will open until Tuesday 12 midnight with the collection for that Thursday.  The collection point is in store at St Patrick’s Woollen Mills, Douglas.

For our launch of our Click & Collect we want to introduce you to some of our makers Ceramifique, Mr Kite Designs, Purpose Mosaic, Volodar Wood Art and Aluna to name but a few.

Ceramifique is a collaboration between French artist Jean-Philippe Levillain and Irish artist Jennifer Click and Collect CeramicsAhern. Both are graduates of Fine Art in Crawford College of Art and Design, where they met and specialised in ceramics. They are also the founders and directors of Over the Line Studios, a ceramic and Fine Art studio in Ballyvolane Cork, which they have been running together since graduating in 201

Mr Kite Designs is the creation of Jade and Jo, two friends who share a love of craft, design and all things handmade. Both Jade and Jo are inspired by textiles and pattern, particularly bold and unusual prints. They design and make their range of gift and homewares from our studio in Cork city.

Margaret Twomey from the seaside town of Cobh , Co Cork is the founder of Purpose Mosaic, established in 1999. Her art takes many forms, from jewellery to award winning ceramic mosaic
pieces. Margaret takes her inspiration from the natural world and colourful Mediterranean landscapes. Her work is an explosion of colour. Both vibrant and eye catching, combining gemstones, pearls and glass. She is welcome to all commissions!

Next we have Volodar Wood Art by Volodymyr Lashko who is a self-taught artist in wood. His work is inspired by natural forms and elements, their beauty, and imperfection. Sleek, clean, and imperfect, harmoniously integrated into an overall piece of art, embracing how things really are in nature. The wood that he uses has been weathered by time and nature’s elements, giving endless changes of colours, shadows, patterns and textures, offering unlimited design inspiration. His versatility, both as an artist and as a craftsman in wood, allows him to create original work, from bespoke furniture to unique art pieces. Volodar Wood Art studio is located in Carrigaline, Cork.

Finally we have new member Stella who is the creator of Aluna Crafts which is a creative project inspired by her travels around the world. All her creations are handcrafted here in  Cork city where she lives with her little son. Each piece is lovingly handmade using various different techniques,  from beading to weaving to metalwork.  Stellas creations are influenced by indigenous and tribal art and the most predominant themes are those of honouring the sacred femine, cosmic forces and mother nature.
