My Story
Linda Taylor is a Mixed Media Artist based in Roberts Cove, Minane Bridge, Co. Cork.
I completed a two-year art course in Kinsale College. During my work I came across a recyclable synthetic paper and alcohol inks and started experimenting in 2D style, building in layers and making holes in the paper, which allows you to see through each layer. This technique creates both light and shadow as well as density in the texture and opens up the negative space. My style is inspired by nature and the sea.
I am enjoying creating my pieces and seeing what journey it’s taking me on.
