My Story
Based in Kinsale from my home studio, I’m a Print Artist specialising in Lino Printing. Linocut is a printmaking technique in which a sheet of linoleum is used as a relief surface. I create my unique designs usually from a photograph and then carve the mirror image of the design into the surface of the lino. The ‘negative’ uncarved areas are then inked with a roller and then printed onto hand made paper to create the final image. Due to the colour and amount of the ink used each print I make is unique.
